Grand Theft Auto: 6 Release Date And Agreement

Grand Theft Auto: 6: Very weird that Rockstar is doing with Microsoft and the Xbox and how that could give us a better idea on when the next grand theft auto game could be releasing we'll be looking at some mysterious instagram posts. Hat have happened recently. What tattoo interactive and specifically rockstar did the other day this is a report that came out from the united states securities and exchange commissions.

It says this on july 10, 2020 take two interactive software, who we know is the parent company of Rockstar games and the Microsoft Corporation entered into an Xbox Console publisher license agreement with an effective date of July 1, 2020. The agreement consents the company the right to develop publish, have manufactured market, advertise distribute and sell Xbox Compatible products for the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X platforms, until may 31st 2023, in the territories as specified in the consensus. After the (Initial Term) the Agreement will automatically be renew for consecutive one year intervals absent written attention from either festivity. The agreement replaces the company's existing Xbox One publisher license agreement, dated October 31st 2013, which expired on June 30th, 2020.

Now there's a lot more business lingo that was actually revealed here and i think the official date in which this was signed on was July 16th. So a couple of days ago but a lot of people are interested in when that officially ends which is on may 31st 2023 and it's weird because the last agreement that rockstar agreed to was seven years long. This one is only about three years long and so not only was i getting a lot of questions about this specific posting. But it looks like a lot of other people were also chiming in on their opinions as well and someone on the gta forum. Site ended up saying that it might be good news for gta 5 in the short term and it would just be another reason to keep working on it until grand theft auto 6 comes out now even though there were no references to gta in this filing.

We know that in early August rockstar i should say take two interactive is scheduled to have like another financial report call. So, we will be following that but a lot of people find the date of may 31st 2023. Interesting and some have even speculated that this deal would terminate before gta 6 is released since take two interactive and rockstar would want to renegotiate just prior to that release and so what people are basing this off of is maybe this particular clause might give us a date as to when rockstar expects to have gta 6 ready and if that's the case you would suspect that it wouldn't be before 2023 may 31st and i know that sounds ages away but if we just like slow down for a second and take a look at where we actually are right.

Now it kind of does make sense we're halfway through 2020 and we haven't heard a peep from rockstar on gta 6. So even if tomorrow rockstar were to say hey we're working on grand theft auto 6. ,It's still not totally out of the realm of possibility that it wouldn't be until may 2023. Because remember grand theft auto 5 was officially announced back in october of 2011 and then didn't end up releasing until uh september 2013. So from the time they announced it to when they released it. It took roughly two years since gta 6 is likely going to be a much bigger project. Than grand theft auto 5 it wouldn't be surprising if it took two to three years between announcement date and actual release and obviously knowing rockstar they love to throw in a couple of delays.

So again it wouldn't be shocking if it was pushed back past that point. So i know that date is a little bit shocking right there but really it wouldn't be all that surprising especially given the fact that we already know grand theft auto 5 is going to be coming out in 2021 again for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
