Microsoft bought Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda is the studio that made Skyrim Fallout, Doom so big deal. Because Microsoft finally has exclusives questions mark Microsoft bought Bethesda Game Studios for 7.5 Billion Dollars That's a big deal, why is that a big deal because first of all they didn't just buy a share they Flat Out bought Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Game Studios has a lot of substitutes and they are responsible for the elder scrolls series for elder scrolls online for Fallout for Doom for Wolfenstein for Dishonored?
This is big because we're potentially about these games going Microsoft exclusives. Now for your gamers, for now, don't panic because it doesn't mean that the games that exist or are announced are going to be Microsoft exclusives elder scrolls online. Still, be playable on PS4 and Death Loop and Ghost Wire Tokyo will still come to PS5 and they will even keep their PS5 timed exclusivity. But for future titles what does this mean because the Elder Scrolls 6, it's basically Skyrim 2 to everybody out there. That only played Skyrim the elder Scrolls 6 is that next big title coming from Bethesda. Then they also have we think it's called Star Field a space RPG with the Scope of Skyrim.
That's gonna be huge there's undoubtedly going to be the next Fallout even though Fallout 4 was ass and Fallout 76. But huge Bethesda games are still in the pipeline and on the internet, people are saying that. This is not a monopoly this doesn't mean the games are necessarily Xbox exclusives, but listen here would Microsoft drop 7.5 Billion Dollar for a non-exclusivity deal. It doesn't see that being the case, that all these Bethesda titles will come to game pass for free right. Because if you subscribe to game pass with 10 dollars a month payments. You get all these Microsoft Games for free then, because they own the titles right. They can still bring them to Sony and other systems and even determine the pricing. Sony system on the Steam or Epic Store and so they're making that money.
The Xbox you get the titles for free, now with the Xbox Series S only costing $299 a free game is looking really appealing. If you consider that we might be paying 70,80 for it. Elsewhere why not just buy the Xbox system, so really interesting deal that Microsoft pulled off here for 7.5 billion. It worth paying that much we'll see because and here's the interesting part for Xbox fans for Xbox players, you finally have an exclusive. It was like is gears of war still a thing and you have fable is coming right. Where it's on PS5 it's just like those associations personally. Now though you got a potential elder Scrolls 6 again that's still Skyrim 2. Basically coming for Xbox that kind of tips the scales a little bit and you Fallout mind you Microsoft also owns Obsidian Entertainment.
They team up with Bethesda again, new vegas to that's a huge title huge deal for gamers. Because Xbox just got a lot more interesting there.
