Sony is pulling Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store and offering a full refund for anyone who has received the game from the Digital Storefront, the company explained Thursday. If you expect to launch the refund procedure presently, Sony asks you to sign in to your PlayStation account to visit this site and submit the request.

Nevertheless, on Thursday evening, being delayed, Sony reported that it was "aware some users were having trouble accessing" the refund form. If you notice problems, you can try again later.

Cyberpunk 2077 has already been removed from the PlayStation Store and the game "Cyberpunk 2077" does not appear in the web version of the store. Interpreting the old one, the online links in the game will show its store page, but only with the option to list it.

The decision [to disclose Sony’s decision] was undertaken following our discussion with SIE [Sony Interactive Entertainment] regarding a full refund for all gamers who had purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store and want a refund at this time. All copies of the game previously purchased digitally on PlayStation Store remain available for use by their respective buyers. Gamers can still buy physical versions of the game in retail and mail-order stores. All copies, whether digital or physical, will continue to receive support and updates from the Company.

It’s unspecific when Sony Cyberpunk 2077 hopes to return to the PlayStation Store: The company notes that the game will be unavailable in its next digital format "until further notice." It's also not understandable if Microsoft similarly inked the game from its digital storefront or offered a full refund. Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

CD Project Red Cyberpunk 2077 promises to release patches for improvement. The company has already released a post-launch update, and in an announcement on December 13, the studio explained that another update "will come in the coming days." More important patches are hoped to in January and February. "Together, gamers should address the most well-known issues overlooking end-gen consoles," the company announced.
