2K Apologizes For The Ads in NBA 2K21

Let's talk about a response from 2K21, about the unskippable ads that were in NBA 2K21. We talked about these before they popped up people realized that, they were getting a commercial for Quest 2 for some reason. Even, though it seemed to be done loading, and they couldn't skip it. That was a whole thing as well.

There was plenty of feedback for a 2K, we'll say with that one in the NBA. It looks like they did respond, you can see the tweet here it says - (As many are aware, in recent years ads have been integrated into 2K tv segments. Yesterday's 2KTV ad placement impacted our players' experience in a way we didn't intend, as these ads are not meant to run as part of the pre-game introduction. This will be fixed in future episodes. Thanks for your continued feedback), Alright.

This is the thing with live services, once again these updates that can take place. They can try things to see, how it goes and if there's a lot of pushback they go. That was a mistake, EA doesn't a lot of these companies do it, they just see how far they can push. Then if it's too far and they get that backlash they go. Hold on, that would that was a bug! Yeah.

Now they know those unskippable ads during this 2KTV segment before a game isn't the way to go about it. Look we've seen cases like these, before where it's a lot of backlashes, then it's a quick response and removal of it. Because they're just testing the waters and it's the best way they can do it from their perspective.

You know just make good games, sell them and make money. There's already enough Micro-Transactions in these NBA 2K games commercials. We went over all that.
