Gears Tactics Series On Xbox, Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon Localization

Gears Tactics Series X/S Resolution:

Now since it was shown and there's been a lot of questions around resolution and frame rate? We have more and more games shown to us for the next generation. That comes out alongside the Series S and the Series X. The Verge that goes over some of the numbers, you can see here. Where it mentions the Series S will have a couple of modes 1440p at 60 frames per second, the Xbox Series X will have an option for 4k-30fps or 1440p-60fps. The first is at 1080p-30 frames per second. We do have of course the Series X pushing through 4k-60 frames per second. Tons of modes across different consoles, there depending on where you're going to be playing it.

Once again, the Series S 1440p-60 frames per second. That's pretty good now gears tactics, of course, is a first-party game. They're going to try to get the most they can out of the Series S. If you're looking at gears tactics and you're getting an S, you're not sure seems like it will be playing it pretty well, at its target resolution.

Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon Localization:

Nintendo's big announcement Yesterday, now people are excited about this one. It's a Fire Emblem game that's never been released in the west before. Two could open the door for one specific game one really big game, that people are hoping that could get localized. Brought, out again with a collector's edition, we'll touch on that a little bit here. We have this trailer goes over some of the new features, it seems to be mostly like fast-forwarding and all this and seems like you do like checkpoints. We are looking at Fire Emblem Shadow Dragons. The Blade of Light this should seem familiar one it was on the Famicom 2. Its was on the Nintendo Switch online service released in Japan.

They've had this for a little bit now in Japan, but it's only going to be 6$ digitally on the e-shop. There's just have one issue with this because it looks like it is decked out. There's a full artbook replica game box even, like a Nintendo Power Down.

Nintendo

Unfortunately, you still have to download it digitally now. Some people say, well they wouldn't waste a cartridge on what's, a Famicom game or an NES game, it's 30 Megabytes. But they could use a very small cartridge a 512 Megabyte cart. That's being used by other games Axiom Verge cave story and others. They could have thrown it on there, it's Nintendo they should be the ones with the access to the cartridges at the lowest cost. They just didn't want to do it and you might be wondering why is that well. It looks like this game is going to be another limited edition release. It's a six dollar game, so most people who want it will probably get it before the end of March.

Which is when it appears to be disappearing, and that's also digitally. If this is just like the collector's edition, they're not going to produce the collector's edition forever. Most of us, get that it's the weird thing with these digital editions going away. So on March 31st a lot of things are just going to be disappearing across the board Mario 35. The Mario 3d all-stars and Fire Emblem, now the only reason for them doing this is. Because they probably will add it to Nintendo Switch online later on next year, and it's just a way for them to basically, recoup the cost of localization. That's all we can see here it's like - "we'll sell it for six dollars for a couple of months and then we'll take it down then we'll add a Nintendo Switch online service".

It's kind of like doing a virtual console game before, then adding it to the subscription service. That you kind of already gets, anyway with your Nintendo Switch online. But still, there it's six dollars and most people think who would want it will pick it up it's gonna be more of a shame, if they don't add Nintendo Switch online service down the road, it just disappears and anyone who maybe picks up a Switch, when the revision drops, maybe.

It's after March, just won't be able to buy it now. The big thing that this opens up, of course, is Nintendo, maybe localizing other games. The Twitter, there were a lot of cool things thrown around, of course, any of the other Fire Emblem for example. The big one that came up naturally mother three, it has anything to do with the Logistics or getting money back anything. It will sell well enough for Nintendo to make it a worthwhile venture it just comes down to some of the themes. Issues in the game and Nintendo not necessarily wanting to be very controversial, when it comes to just the overall online atmosphere, right now.

Unfortunately, Nintendo will probably continue to sidestep Mother 3, which is a shame. But twitter exists it's 2020. Nintendo wants no part of that, but interested in Fire Emblem. It's a pretty cool release for them to do and they continue to do more legacy software. That may be, didn't make its way out of Japan. This doesn't become a trend for Nintendo going forward and that they have plans for some of these games after they disappear like the Mario all-stars collection Mario 35, now Fire Emblem next up.
