Microsoft releases Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21322 Dev Channel Insiders
Today Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21322 (RS_PRERELEASE) to Windows Insiders on Dev Channel.
The update brings the following changes and improvements:
• After updating to this build, the 3D Object folder will no longer be shown as a special folder in File Explorer. If you need to access this folder, you can do so by typing% user profile% in File Explorer or by using the "Show all folders" option in the navigation pane.
• Microsoft has removed the "Reduce taskbar updates" option from the context menu. Microsoft hopes it will be back in future updates.
• Microsoft has temporarily removed the Touch Keyboard modifications mentioned in Build 21301 to fix some issues. However, updates to the default keyboard layout on the 12" or larger screen and candidate bar are available to everyone on the Dev Channel as mentioned last week with Build 21318.
It makes the following fixes:
• Microsoft has fixed an issue where if you try to access an Azure Active Directory (AAD) Join device via Remote Desktop (RDP), it will fail after being updated to the latest Dev Channel builds.
• Microsoft has fixed an issue that could result in a bug in checking your PC when switching between users.
• Microsoft has fixed a problem that causes deleted files to remain unexpectedly visible on the desktop until refreshed.
• Microsoft has fixed a problem where the taskbar button does not show any content after the initial monitor changes.
• Microsoft has fixed an issue where even after the screen closes, using resources, news and interests in the background will continue to refresh the content.
• Microsoft solves multiple problems affecting performance and reliability.
• Microsoft has fixed a problem with the new "Paste as Simple Text" option in the history of the clipboard where the history of the clipboard did not stop after use, not consistent with normal paste behaviour.
• Microsoft has fixed a problem that could be logged as a result of a typo.
• Microsoft has fixed an issue that may delay audio playback on certain devices in the last few builds.
• Microsoft has fixed an issue where the calculated values of other data formats may not be correct if you change the calendar format more than once under Settings> Date & Time> Region.
The following known problems gradually arise:
• There is a problem with build 21318 where the Windows Update page in Settings will unexpectedly display the recommended OS updates as both algorithmic and necessary. This issue has been fixed as build 21322; however, you will see this when upgrading from Build 21318.
• Microsoft is looking for pending reports of the update process for an extended period while trying to install the new build.
• Microsoft is investigating an issue affecting the reliability of Start and other modern applications that was recently launched on the Dev Channel flight. If you are affected, you can be reset the Start menu layout.
• Live previews for pinned sites are not yet enabled for all interiors, so you will see a grey window as you hover over the thumbnails of the taskbar. Microsoft continues to work to polish this experience.
• Microsoft is working to enable a new taskbar experience for existing pinned sites. In the meantime, you can unpin the site from the taskbar, remove it from the edge://apps page, and then re-pin the site.
• Microsoft is addressing an issue where news and interests are not available when signing in to Windows without Internet access but return online.
• Sometimes the flyout of news and interest cannot be dismissed with the pen.
• [ARM64] Installing a pre-version of Qualcomm Adreno Graphics driver on the Surface Pro X can reduce the brightness of the display. This will be addressed in a future update. If you are experiencing this issue, please see the feedback collection for more information.
• Microsoft is working to address reports from insiders that Chinese text and calendar flyouts for the lunar calendar are no longer displaying as accurately as on previous flights.
• Microsoft reports that insider devices hang when recent Dev channel builds shut down, restart, or enter an Xbox controller during sleep.
You can download the update by checking the updates in the settings of Dav Channel's Windows 10 built-in.
