Devil May Cry 5 PS5 And Xbox Series X Game Load Time
Next-generation with the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X would be load times well it looks like. We have a representation of a very fast load time with Devil May Cry 5 special edition. We know that, is going to the Xbox Series X and the PS5 with a patch to kind of take advantage of Ray Tracing, and high frame rates.
Also, faster loading times, we have an example now of the PlayStation 5 loading in about 2 seconds, they also attempted to compare it to other strategies. Which you can see some of the impressions here. But to be credible, it's not an incredible comparison overall, but the PS5 - 2 seconds, PC is - 11 seconds, Xbox Series X - 17 seconds, and the PS4 is - 22 seconds.
The explanation, it's not a great comparison PS4 appears to load an entirely different level. We don't know what SSD or NVMe drive is being utilized in the PC versions. So, there's still a lot of variables, we don't necessarily know about there. But either way 2 seconds is very fast for the PS5. That's trendiness because that notifies us that if something like Devil May Cry 5 will load that fast.
Major teams probably will be able to just eliminate load screens. Whether it's an infrequently longer corridor to get that extra second out of it, maybe. They do make you wander for like a second or two. But you can see these faster load times makes us wonder, what these initial parties have for us going into the next generation.
